What were your primary objectives and motivators for signing up for the FxF Academy?

There’s always more to learn and more inspiring women to learn from!

What did you learn from the FxF Academy?

I knew most ‘educational’ information already, but I really liked hearing about the practical experiences some people had during their internships and jobs in the finance industry. That kind of information is always unique and therefore pretty valuable. The FxF certainly gave me some additional insights!

What is your overall experience of the FxF Academy?

My overall experience with the FxF Academy is very good, I think it’s a pretty great place to start for young women who have an interest in finance but have no clue where to begin. For me personally: I really like the idea of likeminded women coming together, I’ve met many men in the finance industry the past couple of years where I learned a lot from. But at a certain point I started to wonder if it was odd for me to have this interest, since I rarely met any women who were even half as enthusiastic about finance as I was (and still am). The FxF Academy gave me a fresh perspective on this: there are indeed ambitious and enthusiastic women out there who share the same view. Even though I didn’t really speak to anyone directly during the FxF Academy, I hope to be able to mingle with them in the near future!
